Summary of Position

Kinsley is seeking a detailed-oriented Safety Administrator for our growing safety team in York, PA. This role is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Safety Department, reporting directly to the Director of Construction Safety. Key responsibilities include managing incident and corrective action databases, generating post-accident and DOT authorization forms, assisting the DOT/Fleet Administrator, and handling additional required tasks.

A successful candidate should have strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to learn.

Typical Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Safety Department.
  • Organize and maintain subcontractor compliance and pre-qualification forms
  • Upload and input safety statistics, toolbox talks, and safety policies across various databases.
  • Maintain, scan, and upload incident reports to the incident management system and send notifications to relevant departments.
  • Administer databases for incidents and corrective actions.
  • Complete and administer post-accident drug/alcohol and DOT recertification authorization forms as required.
  • Support and assist the DOT/Fleet Administrator as needed.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

Experience & Education

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work with all personnel within the organization and facilitate professional communication
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • Must be flexible, proactive and able to work in fast-paced and changing environment
