About the Role Culmen International is seeking a Travel Youth Care Worker for a future Health and Human Services opportunity! This position is for a future opportunity and may not be immediately available. What You'll Do in Your New Role The role of a Travel Youth Care Worker (TYCW) requires a deep sense of compassion for children and a strong desire to positively impact their lives. A qualified candidate provides care and support to unaccompanied children, accompanying them on domestic flights or ground transportation to sponsors or facilities across the country. During these journeys, the TYCW uses their language skills to communicate in a culturally sensitive way, creating a safe and nurturing environment. They complete all necessary paperwork for transportation, ensuring that personal belongings and medication are secured, and provide orientation while meeting the physical, emotional, and health needs of the children. The TYCW is always attentive to their surroundings, establishes behavioral expectations, and provides appropriate guidance. They keep track of trip progress and complete all required documentation at the end of each trip.
Ensuring the safe and secure transportation of unaccompanied children in a caring and humane manner, following established transportation policies.
