The Brand Client Strategist for The Ceremony of Roses (COR), is responsible for supporting blue-chip and artist "brand" clients in their strategic product development and go-to-market efforts. As a vital member of our brand and innovation-focused department, your role involves the daily management of our band clients, while helping to develop our marketing creative and strategic campaign output to boost client visibility and maximize campaign return on investment (ROI).

Your duties include contributing to the growth of our brand services operation by prospecting, developing proposals, onboarding, and managing brand clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in client services or account management for blue-chip brand clients. You've lead brand and go to market strategy for brand clients, including setting and managing timelines in a clear and engaging way. You have exceptional attention to detail, love working with people, and understand marketing. Additionally, you have a passion for clothing, thrive as a team player, and enjoy building new opportunities.

You are a self-starter who thrives in balancing campaign planning, client management and exceptional creative work. Your ability to brief and oversee the creative process is essential for producing content that drives merchandise conversion. Your skill set spans both creative and client services, allowing you to be versatile and effective in your daily responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys collaborating closely with brands, setting strategy, and bringing it to life. Your primary focus will be building branded merchandise and its campaigns for a diverse range of clients.

The Brand Client Strategist will report directly to the Vice President of New Business and engage closely with cross-functional teams, including account management, e-commerce, operations, production, and design. You will also supervise and coordinate a select group of freelance talent and relevant influencers to ensure impactful results and exceptional service for our clients.

What you'll do:



  • Client Management and Commination: Support the daily management of brand clients by proactively communicating about product development, campaign planning, asset creation, marketing, and billing. Lead internal cross-functional efforts to ensure products are produced on budget and on time. Oversea both internal and external campaign planning efforts, driving successful and revenue-generating collection launches.
  • Client Prospecting: Collaborate and lead efforts to identify, prospect, and refine pitches to generate new brand client business. This involves developing strategic outreach initiatives, crafting compelling pitches, courting prospective clients, and closing deals. You will also oversee onboarding new clients and leading the development of their products, as well as strategizing how to take those products to market effectively.
  • Campaign Planning: Lead the cross-functional campaign planning and execution process for Tier 1 artists and brand partners. As a strategic leader, you will guide the organization in considering the optimal marketing mix for each campaign launch. This includes the development and execution of strategic content to build demand and awareness for our brand and product launches. Overtime, you will establish and refine organizational best practices for effective content on key platforms, enhancing campaign performance from campaign to campaign.
  • Asset Creation: Collaborate with our internal design team and selected freelance creatives to produce 'digital-first' assets across key platforms. These assets are intended to seamlessly integrate into every step of a collections marketing campaign, including copy, email, SMS, organic and paid social media. Messaging and content effeteness should be measured from campaign to campaign and optimized to improve awareness and conversion.
  • Business Administration: Lead the administration for the New Business and Innovation department, ensuring all key assets are properly filed and accessible to cross-functional teams. Oversee and manage all invoicing processes, ensuring all efforts are accurately tracked and payments are made in a timely manner.


  • Special Projects: As a member of the Innovation team, we are the first stop when a new idea or opportunity arises. The right candidate can think on their feet and develop creative solutions. Key projects may include influencer selection and seeding, identifying prime pop-up locations and sourcing teams to operate them, or becoming the voice of Ceremony of Roses by engaging across various social media channels to provide information and develop consumer trust.


Who you are:



  • 3-5 years of experience in merchandising, sales or brand management, or equivalent experience in a lateral industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing demanding client relationships and delivering results against aggressive growth targets.
  • Strategic thinker who can see the big picture as well as the small details required to win. Motivated to develop systems and processes that can improve performance and scale results.
  • Dynamic problem solver with an expert-level understanding of relevant business practices and track-record of efficiently resolving client issues.
  • Digital Native: Fluent and passionate about digital content and community building.
  • Expert Brand Storyteller: Skilled in creating compelling digital content.
  • Creative Content Producer: Possesses a vision for what works across various content platforms and has the tactical acumen to turn strategy into reality.
  • Campaign Marketing Expert: Understands how to create and capture demand.
  • Influencer/Ambassador Program Developer: Proven ability to build out effective programs.
  • Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Experienced in working successfully with diverse teams and launching partnerships and campaigns.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrates meticulous attention to all work aspects.
  • Highly Organized: Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Outstanding in written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Art and Scientist: Analytical with a business understanding, creative, and capable of generating innovative ideas while maintaining a strategic view of results and revenue.

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
