Responsibilities Project Overview: We are modernizing FDA cloud infrastructure with a focus on procurement, migration, and optimization using AWS. This project aims to improve cloud operations, enhance security, and automate processes for mission-critical applications. REI is looking for a Data Scientist to design and implement data-driven, industry-focused solutions leveraging cutting-edge analytics, machine learning, and cloud technologies. As a Data Scientist, you will be a key leader in shaping consulting strategies and delivering impactful solutions for our clients. REI's growth trajectory ensures that Data Scientists will immediately influence customer outcomes and contribute to team development by working closely with clients and REI core members. Not only do REI Data Scientists gain expertise in building and deploying data-driven applications, but they also develop deep domain knowledge in various client industries. Position Overview: The Data Scientist will collaborate directly with project stakeholders throughout the entire project lifecycle to define, design, and implement data-driven solutions. This role involves developing and implementing advanced analytics models, machine learning algorithms, and data visualizations to provide actionable insights for clients. You will independently interface with client technical teams and business owners as needed during the design and implementation phases. Additionally, the Data Scientist will supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members on data science methodologies and best practices. Other similar professional duties may be assigned as needed.
Prepare data science business cases while working with domain experts and customers. Support defining the AI strategy within a federal government agency.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent Clearance: Eligible to obtain a public trust clearance.
