Summary
The Implementation Manager's role is to strategically design and deploy business solutions to operationalize new U.S. promotional product executions. The Implementation Manager understands both Medscape and client challenges to develop a strong point of view for the content, layout, and technical functionality of new promotional products to lead internal teams to implement solutions for more efficient execution approaches. The Implementation Manager provides operational leadership and guidance to internal stakeholders as a promotional product subject matter expert and provides expert guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams in the execution of these projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation of our internal Medscape processes including existing product knowledge, execution capabilities, and client talk tracks around various topics including MLR and timing. Candidates must be able to communicate across various internal teams including members of Senior Leadership. The Implementation Manager is viewed as the subject matter and operational expert for new promotional and editorial products.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Report to Senior Director, Product Operations
  • Lead new product rollouts to RDHQ teams in partnership with other Implementation Manager and support from Senior Director
  • Serve as the first point of contact to help triage issues that may arise on new product launches to execute quickly and smoothly
  • Collaborate with U.S. RDHQ Implementation, Account & Project Management, Product Marketing and Product Management teams to determine the best execution approach for new promotional and editorial products
  • Coordinate and lead standing new product execution status meetings with the internal teams to review project progress and align on next steps
  • Collaborates with Go Team Senior Implementation Manager to create the framework for new IEE product process and best practices for RDHQ teams
  • Translates and applies pilot learnings provided from the Go Team Senior Implementation Manager to the larger product operationalization process for RDHQ teams
  • Motivate internal teams to re-evaluate outdated processes to drive change and improve speed-to-market for promotional and editorial products
  • Maintain documentation on new product pilot executions, associated obstacles, solutions and recommendations for future programs
  • Drive a strong point of view on Medscape promotional new product Medical Legal Regulatory submission approach
  • Identify new product operational process gaps to formalize strategy and lead internal teams to create solutions for standardization
  • Maintain product specification documentation for promotional product suite and solicits feedback from key stakeholders for quarterly updates
  • Host monthly Product Operations office hours to provide guidance to Account Managers, Project Managers and internal teams on promotional product and driver executions
  • Participate in client and sales calls as the Medscape Product Operations new product execution subject matter expert on an as-needed basis
  • Partner with members of the Product Operations team to help support custom executions on an as-needed basis based on custom execution volume
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS or equivalent years of experience
  • Up to 2+ years of experience in client management, project management, operations and/or product development or another relevant field preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and proven ability to deliver on multiple tasks/responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Up to 2+ years relevant experience working in a high-volume, process-oriented environment with a focus on online content development preferred
  • Up to 2+ years relevant experience working in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare marketing, including direct experience working with pharmaceutical company requirements
  • High level of personal and professional accountability and the ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Experience with digital publishers a plus
  • Experience with Workfront or another similar project management system a plus
  • Experience in agile methodology/implementation a plus
