Student Well-Being Job Description
The senior counselor role serves as a member of a collaborative student wellbeing team dedicated to supporting and promoting student health and wellbeing as a core institutional value. Through a multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach, this position will serve as a licensed mental health professional providing direct mental health services to a diverse community of undergraduate and graduate students. Using a short-term intervention and stepped care model, the senior counselor will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling, screenings, consultations, and crisis intervention services. This position may also assist in training and supervision of master's level interns. As a JED Campus Alumni school, this position plays an integral part of our collaborative and multidisciplinary student wellbeing team. Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work and relevant licensure (or eligible to be licensed within 12 months) within the State of Missouri. Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $52,223-$65,000 annually. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
