Responsibilities

Compensation Specialist

The Compensation Specialist at Hackensack Meridian Health supports compensation functions such as resolving employee inquiries, handling pay rate changes, managing job descriptions, analyzing salary data, and conducting compensation surveys. The role involves collaborating with various teams, including HR, Finance, and Payroll, and generating reports using PeopleSoft and Excel. The specialist will also evaluate internal compensation offers and provide support for productivity programs.

Ideal Candidate:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, with some experience in compensation or a related area. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze and interpret large data sets are crucial. Experience in Human Resources and Compensation, as well as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification, are preferred.

Location: This is a hybrid position, with remote work options and occasional meetings in Edison, NJ.

Compensation Analyst

The Compensation Analyst at Hackensack Meridian Health serves as a Compensation Business Partner for a designated group of directors and their teams, addressing all compensation-related inquiries. Key responsibilities include calculating merit increases, employee incentives, and incentive plans, managing job descriptions, conducting internal compensation comparisons, and evaluating salary data. The analyst also participates in compensation surveys, assists with physician compensation when needed, and provides support for productivity programs. Reporting is done through PeopleSoft and Excel. This role requires occasional travel and close collaboration with HR, Finance, and Payroll.

Ideal Candidate:Bachelor's Degree in a related field, with at least one year of experience in compensation or a related area. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, along with an understanding of compensation practices. A Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation and familiarity with HR systems are preferred.

Location:This is a hybrid position, with remote work options and occasional meetings in Edison, NJ.
