Job Description
  • Assist with planning and coordination of the YouthBuild program (partners, activities, resources, etc)
  • Keep program on schedule
  • Maintain relationships with partners and other key community stakeholders
  • Provide outreach and recruitment in preparation for program continuity
  • Support YouthBuild team and partners in case conferencing, problem solving, and resource connection
  • Implement the transformative culture in all program aspects and ensure students are getting what they need to be successful in the program from all program components
  • Deliver lessons as needed throughout the program on topics of career readiness, workplace success, etc
  • Develop and maintain effective relatiohnsips with area employers and program participants
  • Provide referrals and coordination with other community reseources and activities
  • Enter case related data on a regular basis
  • Compile and analyze information from a variety of sources to assist in the preparation of reports
  • Develop and implement solutions for various challenges
  • Responsibible for ensuring timely submissions of required reports and data entry
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; an equivalent combination of acceptable related experience and training may be substituted
  • Minimum of three to four years' experience in human services, social services, education, or related field preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work and develop professional relationships with community partners and participating youth
  • Ability to collaborate well with others
  • Strong computer skills using MicroSoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), social media, and web search techniques
  • Frequent travel requiring a valid driver's license in good standing and automobile insurance
