Senior Partnerships Manager- Global Partner Accounts

The Partnerships & Alliances (P&A) team at Thomson Reuters is responsible for end-to-end lifecycle management of strategic partnerships. From strategy development, through assessment, recruitment, negotiation, onboarding, launch and ongoing management; the Partnerships & Alliances team oversees numerous partnerships working collaboratively in a variety of commercial models.

The P&A team and Partner Ecosystem have grown significantly, delivering exceptional value to our business, our partners, and ultimately our customers. Building on this success, the Global Partner Accounts Team will further strengthen collaboration and unlock joint opportunities with our most strategic and influential partners globally.

We are thrilled to invite talented and driven individuals to join our Global Partnerships & Alliances Team. This role will play a pivotal role in supporting the management and expansion of our largest and most critical global partner accounts. Working under the leadership of a Director, Partnerships & Alliances- Global Partner Accounts, this role will focus on operational excellence, ensuring seamless execution of initiatives, performance tracking, and issue resolution. Together with other key stakeholders this role will contribute to elevating these partnerships, unlocking transformative opportunities, and delivering measurable, sustainable impact across the business.

About the Role

In this role as Senior Partnerships Manager- Global Partner Accounts, you will:

  • Support the Director, Partnerships & Alliances- Global Partner Accounts in managing the global account by executing operational and tactical initiatives.
  • Oversee performance tracking, pipeline management, and preparation of recurring reports (e.g., QBRs and ABRs) to ensure visibility into account health.
  • Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the account, including addressing partner queries, managing escalations, and ensuring quick issue resolution.
  • Coordinate with regional teams and segment GTM partner managers to ensure alignment between segment execution plans and the global account strategy.
  • Collaborate with supporting functions, such as Partner Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Product teams, to develop and execute initiatives that drive partner success and enhance engagement.
  • Identify new partnering opportunities and propose enhancements to existing partnership motions, contributing to continuous growth and innovation within the account.
  • Track and report on key account KPIs, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending solutions to enhance performance.
  • Contribute to the execution of global launches, enablement programs, and GTM activities by managing operational workflows and supporting cross-functional coordination.

About You

You're a fit for the Senior Partnerships Manager- Global Partner Accounts role if your background includes:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of experience in Partner& Alliance Management, relationship management or related field
  • 7+ years' Global industry experience at a minimum working for or selling into software/SaaS companies
  • Proven ability to manage operational workflows and support large-scale accounts with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Experience with CRM software and partnership management tools
  • Thorough knowledge of trends impacting the market and the needs of partners; exceptional strategic relationship account management and consultative sales skills across multiple sectors
  • Experience and proven success at leading complex, strategic negotiations, and delivery on subsequent agreements
  • Strategic account planning; ability to develop and manage relationships with complex, large global accounts
  • Proven ability to develop and execute innovative sales strategies
  • Resourceful and highly organized self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and operate successfully in a complex, dynamic, fast paced, highly collaborative, and continuously evolving environment
  • Proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights
  • Deep understanding of the AI and software technology landscape, including current trends and competitive dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and financial data to make informed decisions that enhance profitability and sustainability.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; ability to thrive amidst ambiguity and adapt to shifting circumstances. Proactive and results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to successfully lead in an agile, fast-pace environment developing new and unproven standards. Thrives in fast-paced, highly matrixed environments
  • Strong C-suite engagement skills and track record
  • Global experience: lived in / worked across multiple markets a plus

Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $132,400 - $246,000. Eagan, MN; Ann Arbor, MI; Richmond, VA; Rochester, NY. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $114,400 - $212,400. Chicago, IL; Frisco, TX; Houston, TX; fully remote location. For these locations and any eligible US locations not otherwise noted, including for fully remote location if applicable, the base compensation range for this role is $120,400 - $223,600. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
