Education Support Associate

The Education Support Associate is responsible for the planning, coordination, execution and sales of DSO education courses. Fulfilling sales force and customer requests for these events is required, along with knowledge of BioHorizons products used for hands-on training. Effective communication with the sales force, clinicians, various levels of management and multiple departments required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Qualify sales leads and prospects from education courses
  • Close sales to DSO customers upon completion of training class
  • Assist the Territory Manager and Regional Sales Manager with analyzing territory/market potential and target potential customers
  • Develop active, trusted partnerships with customers within the assigned region
  • Responsible for planning and executing DSO education courses
  • Scheduling of education materials and literature for courses and meetings
  • Coordination of DSO education participation, including registration, display materials and staffing
  • Maintain all inventory necessary for executing courses
  • Work with local outside sales force to ensure events are properly staffed
  • Completes required reports timely and assures compliance with all customer interfaces
  • Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent decision making, analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding planning and organizational skills and techniques
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
  • Ability to understand and follow directions, complex policies, and procedures
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed, including weekends (0-20%)

Education and/or Experience:

  • B.S. Marketing, Communications or related field of study or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Previous sales experiencer required
