Our Job Corps programs provide life-changing services that help young people succeed in school, obtain good jobs, excel in their chosen fields, and serve as contributing members of their communities. We accomplish this through an intense commitment to safety, quality service, excellence, and partnerships. Job Description- Assists CDSS in order to ensure that all trainees have a secure and safe environment. - Assists CTR in order to ensure assigned trainees are placed within placement service period. - Maintain the center's UA % goal. - Provide Personal Career Development Plan (PCDP) for trainees to willing gain ownership. Also, assists trainees with the preparation and updating PCDP every 60 days. - Provides referrals to all graduate with One- Stops, JTPA and State Employment agencies. - Identifies, locates, and makes referrals to CTS providers when necessary. - Assists Trainees with personal counseling. - Assists Trainees with career counseling. - Provide individual, group orientations and crisis intervention for all students monthly. - Documents all students progress in the counselling students folders. - Documents all students follow up in CIS (case notes) monthly. - ESP panel need to be implemented for all student progress. - Evaluations need to be implemented every 60 days for all students. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - One or two years of related experience and/or training required. - Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university, preferably on Social Work or related field and 15 hours of Social Services discipline.
