Position Title: School Psychologist Intern Department: Special Student Services Reports To: Coordinator of School Psychology and Autism Services Location: Tigard Tualatin School District Schools Pay by Stipend : $24,000 annually Bargaining Unit: not eligible FTE: 1.0 Start date: Beginning of 2025 School Year Tentative Internship Dates: 8/26/25 - 6/12/26 NW REGIONAL ESD'S MISSION STATEMENT In partnership with the communities we serve, Northwest Regional ESD improves student learning by providing equitable access to high quality services and support. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This position works in cooperation with and under the supervision of a licensed School Psychologist in completing university program requirements including conduct cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments for students, birth through 21 and assisting teachers and parents in understanding the educational needs of referred students. This position's responsibilities are coordinated to provide multiple learning experiences for school psychologist interns. Interns will practice in the role of a school psychologist through assessing and observing students. They will develop skills in teaming with an evaluation IEP team and will assist in report writing. They will have a full range of experiences from preschool through high school level. QUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Under direct supervision of a licensed School Psychologist and depending upon the individual assignment, the School Psychologist Intern may perform all or a combination of the following:
