Genesis10 is currently seeking a Cyber Security Research Specialist with our client in the financial industry. This is a 12+ month remote contract position. Responsibilities: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Cyber Security Research, contributing to large-scale planning and execution Review and analyze multi-faceted cybersecurity challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors to create actionable solutions Represent the organization in confidential meetings with industry peers and public partnerships to maintain strong external relationships and advance security initiatives Lead or participate in the research, design, testing, and implementation of complex network security and protection technologies Review and analyze advanced incident response activities and investigate information security breaches, providing thorough analysis and recommendations Serve as a liaison between External Intelligence teams and internal peer teams, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration Create and deliver TEAR sheets for executive leadership, summarizing critical findings and insights Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and management to resolve issues and meet strategic goals Requirements: 4+ years of Cyber Security Research experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education Active US Top Secret Clearance with the Department of the Treasury (Non-Negotiable) Proven experience in computer network security and protection technologies Strong background in incident response and breach investigation Skilled in collaborating with external intelligence teams and building internal alignment Effective communication skills, particularly in creating executive-level summaries and reports Pay Range: $52-$62 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
