JOB PURPOSE:

The Project and Strategic Planning Coordinator will be the link between program leadership and all projects, both internal and external. The primary purpose of this job is to represent program's role in all projects assigned by the Senior Director. This role will manage all project task assignments, monitor the deadlines, and timely submissions. They will be responsible for monitoring the strategic planning effort for this department and making required updates to the strategic planning software as needed. Because of this responsibility, this role will have a dotted line reporting relationship to the Sr. Director of Strategic Planning and Process Improvement. The selected candidate will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, and have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.


Qualifications

  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Determining project changes.
  • Providing administrative support as needed.
  • Undertaking project tasks as required.
  • Developing project strategies.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
  • Monitoring the strategic planning effort and making required updates in the strategic planning software.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with Senior Director on project developments and status.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Three years of relevant experience with program development, management, or coordination preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, exhibition of exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
