INV Nylon Chemicals Americas, LLC., Upstream Research and Development laboratory is looking for a Facilities Leader to join our team at our new Texas Technology Center in Katy, Texas.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and operation of research and development facilities. This role ensures that the facilities are maintained to support the organization's research and development activities effectively and efficiently.

If you have strong leadership, project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a thorough understanding of facility operations and maintenance, we'd like to hear about you!

What You Will Do
* Oversee the daily operations of R&D facilities, ensuring they are safe, secure, and compliant with all regulations.
* Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of equipment and infrastructure to support ongoing research activities.
* Develop and manage the budget for facility operations, including maintenance, utilities, DCS, and capital improvements.
* Ensure all facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Coordinate with EHC coordinator in implementing safety protocols and any deficiencies identified during routine safety audits.
* Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers for facility-related service and ensure compliance with INVISTA standards and Landlords expectations.
* Lead and manage a team of facility staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
* Oversee facility-related projects, including renovations and building new experimental capabilities, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
* Ensure optimal allocation of resources, including equipment and space, to support research activities.
* Partner with leadership to develop and deliver short and long-term R&D objectives.
* Work with the facility support team on site security, fire protection, and general facility needs.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Experience managing multiple ongoing projects
* Leadership experience to include managing groups
* Experience managing a R&D portfolio, and/or R&D laboratory facility

What Will Put You Ahead
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field
* Five (5) or more years' experience in facilities management, preferably in an R&D or laboratory environment
