Lead MRI Tech - Days

Job Description:

Lead MRI Tech,

Full-time, 10-hour shifts Tues-Fri 6am - 4:30pm

Call rotation with 4 -5 techs

Under the direction of the department supervisor, will oversee the daily flow of patients through the
department and coordinate daily exam assignments. Will be responsible for quality control of the section
as designated by supervisor. Will assist with accreditations in all units in the department. Will assist in
making schedules and making sure shifts are covered.

Job Duties

• Responsible for patient and technologist schedules in the absence of the department supervisor.
• Oversees and controls the daily flow of work through the department.
• Develop, document and introduce safe working procedures for the MR environment.
• Manage hazards posed by the MR equipment and monitor the measures to protect against such hazards ie.MR safe vs MR unsafe equipment.

Requirements

• Technical diploma required.
• 5 years of job-related experience.
• Current KBMIRT, ARRT(MR) and BLS is required.
