Treasury Management Sales Officer

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Summary: Work closely with Commercial and Business Bankers to grow deposits and Treasury product fee income. Be a trusted advisor and assess customer needs while recommending effective Treasury Management solutions. Strong requirement for an individual who is self-sufficient, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, team oriented, and goal driven. Flexibility and travel to the different Centier locations is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sales role to include cross-sell and new business development.
• Develop effective strategies for maintaining and growing new and existing customer relationships to achieve established objectives.
• Expands client relationships by communicating product changes, addressing client needs, and answering technical questions
• Be a valued partner for the Business Banking and Retail groups through training and joint calling on existing and new business opportunities.
• Be an ambassador for Centier representing the Bank in community activities including business, charitable, civic and social.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet time critical deadlines.
• Coordinate customer service delivery and relationship management to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Tracks sales calls and closed deals including deposits and fee income
• Maintains current knowledge of external conditions including competition, demographics, and regulatory requirements to ensure client needs are met.
• Provides analysis, initiates projects and processes to improve efficiency.
• Exercises judgment and discretion with respect to client relations and problem resolutions.
• Ability to manage large business portfolios and account relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A college degree and at least 5 years of proven success in direct sales in Treasury Management.
• Strong financial analysis experience with new and existing Business Banking relationships.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proven ability to develop strong partnerships with associates, prospects and current clients is essential.
• College Degree Required.

Department hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 and schedule flexibility is important to meet client needs.
