Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University invites applications for a full-time, fiscal year (12-month), term appointment as a lecturer in entrepreneurship at the Utah State University, Uintah Basin Campus located in Vernal, Utah. The successful candidate will play a key role in growing entrepreneurship programs, with a particular focus on expanding opportunities in the Uintah Basin. This individual will also support the Bingham Entrepreneurship Center in enhancing entrepreneurial education and community engagement across Utah State University campuses. The search committee will begin considering applications on January 15, 2025, and continue until the position is filled. For full consideration, applications should be submitted as soon as possible. It is anticipated the successful candidate will begin their appointment on July 15, 2025. Responsibilities The Lecturer will primarily teach courses in entrepreneurship, with potential teaching assignments in marketing, leadership, or strategy, depending on departmental needs. The standard teaching load for this position is 12 credits per semester (fall, spring, and summer), totaling 36 credits annually. However, the teaching load may be adjusted to facilitate active engagement in a range of entrepreneurship initiatives, including significant student mentoring, overseeing the Bingham Entrepreneurship Center, and participating in community outreach efforts.
