The Office of Admissions at the University of Cincinnati is excited to invite a dedicated and proactive individual to join our National Recruitment Team as a Sr. Admissions Counselor. This role will contribute to UC's goal of enrolling 60,000 students by 2030 and embodies our "Next Lives Here" ethos, emphasizing access, innovation, and inclusiveness. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing access to higher education, eager to explore new recruitment markets, and adept at using data-driven strategies to inform decisions. As a Sr. Admissions Counselor, you will be essential in executing the university's strategic recruitment plan, which focuses on expanding UC's reach into emerging markets and building a diverse and talented student body. This role includes managing a designated geographic territory, serving as a primary point of contact for prospective students and key stakeholders, and participating in on-campus and off-campus events, including high school visits, college fairs, and community outreach activities that align with the strategic plan's objectives. The position requires extensive travel during peak recruitment periods (approximately 8-10 weeks in the fall and 3-5 weeks in the spring) and flexibility for evening and weekend work. This hybrid position, with two days on our Uptown Campus and three remote workdays, is perfect for an individual who is organized, outgoing, and driven to foster connections that drive enrollment growth.
