Description
ATS is seeking to fill a full-time Support Staff position (38 hours/wk). Under the supervision of the Clinical Support Services Supervisor, the Support Staff is responsible for the supervision, security and physical condition of the residential living environment and support of ATS continuum clients. May be responsible for overnight supervision of the residential clients and as needed, provides "back-up" to Detox staff for unusual admissions, crisis situation, or any on-going emergency assistance that Detox staff may encounter. Coordinates residential clients' community appointments and monitors client program services attendance and behavior. Provides newly admitted residential clients with program orientation sessions. Coordinates client room assignments and kitchen crew work schedules and assists clients with crisis management and related case management issues. As needed, provides daily client services such as client educational sessions, group recreational outings, etc. Must have a thorough working knowledge and understanding of the current Programs Policy and Procedures. A minimum of a GED or equivalent required, and prefer an AA degree. Prefer at least one-year experience working with substance abuse treatment clients or clients needing other social services. Must be able to be both supportive of and relate will with substance abuse clients. Needs effective written and verbal communications skills. Prefer word processing/computer experience.
