Position Summary

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and lead LS Team
  • Manage LS team responsibilities and work with Directors and Partners on a regular basis
  • Assist and maintain an updated budget and fee analysis
  • Ability to service multiple chargeable client engagements simultaneously
  • Review and continuously evaluate reports and projects from LS Team related to clients
  • Lead the collateral analysis for field exams
  • Consult financial statement information (income statements, balance sheets, and other reports) and provide thoughtful business observations and conclusions
  • Consult and support LS team members in the development of high-level reports and client presentations to support business strategy and need
  • Propose solutions to lender risks and problem solution tactics
  • Participate in the active recruitment and training of new LS team members, specifically Associates
  • Active participation in team meetings, calls, client relations and serve as secondary point of contact for clients when needed
  • Actively engages and seeks new business opportunities for aspects of LS and the firm

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in an audit or transaction advisory practice within a national or regional public accounting or consulting firm
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Strong project management experience
  • Travel on an as-needed basis

Preferred Skills

  • Demonstrated experience networking and communicating with lender advisory executives
  • CPA certification
  • Exceptional balance of strong audit skills and business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with in-house team members and outside prospects and clients of the firm
  • Ability to be self-starter and confident when interacting with clients and asking questions
  • Ability to operate within tight deadlines and take responsibility for completing an engagement in a timely manner
  • Ability to apply critical thought and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
