Role: Analyst, System Testing II Duration: 12 months Location: Columbia, SC (Partial Onsite - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Onsite and as needed.?) The Team: Enterprise Quality Engineering claims team. This is a team that believes in teamwork, collaboration, and going above and beyond to provide quality products and support to our customers. Day To Day: Provide service for multiple clients, including onsite service where needed. Make recommendations to clients on how to improve testing activities. ?Track quality assurance metrics. Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent project planning, organization, and management skills. Thorough understanding of data processing terminology, operations, and architecture utilized in debugging application/environmental problems. Thorough understanding of systems migration processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skill in testing data creation and manipulation. Ability to understand functional connections between applications. Ability to utilize test requirements, specifications, diagrams, logic functions, etc. Required Software and Tools: Standard office equipment. Preferred Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of JAVA, Websphere, Windows, and other middleware platforms. Knowledge of DB2, Oracle, IMS, and VSAM. Skill in whitebox testing, integration testing, static testing, and 508 compliance testing utilizing JAWS software. Work Environment: The position holds a critical role in the application development process; testing new or modified applications to make sure they will work in the client's operating environment. Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer. Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. Required Work Experience: 5 years of IT experience to include experience developing test plans and/or matrices. Preferred skills: * Business Analysis Preferred experience: * Claims * Managed Care * PIMS * PCMH * DataLake knowledge * Being able to function in a fast-paced and collaborative environment while providing I/S and Customer project support. * Effective communication. |
