Summary of Position Kinsley is actively recruiting for full-time Industrial Electricians in York, PA. The job entails working in diverse industrial and manufacturing settings, with tasks ranging from machinery relocation and complete facility relocations to plant maintenance and renovations, installation of dust collection systems, and upgrades to water/wastewater treatment systems. Travel in the mid-Atlantic region for projects will be required. Kinsley will provide hotels and transportation for this required work-related travel. Typical Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Execute various electrical tasks, including rough-ins, pipe bending, wire pulling, and electrical terminations.
- Handle the installation or relocation of transformers and electrical switchgear/equipment.
- Undertake maintenance and repair activities for existing electrical systems.
- Perform low voltage wiring tasks as required.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Prioritize and uphold a commitment to working safely, utilizing provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and adhering to all safety rules and procedures.
- Contribute to the implementation of safety methods and practices within the work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience & Education
- Must have basic electrician hand tools and ability to multitask effectively in a high-speed environment.
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; 1-3 years of relevant experience is a prerequisite for this position. Additional secondary education is appreciated and will be factored into the determination of the pay scale.
- Have a current valid Driver's License and reliable transportation with flexibility to work some weekends as needed.
- Willingness to learn and maintain OSHA and MSHA safety regulations to avoid hazards while working.
- Exposure of electrical systems, including both power and controls as well as experience and comfort with working at heights.
- Holds strong math and problem-solving skills and understands construction drawings.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude for daily customer interaction.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as working well in a team environment.
- Eager to assist in mechanical and industrial trades and have capability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
