Job Overview

The Associate Field Service Engineer provides after sales support for Hipotronics equipment while promoting and growing our service business. This will include remote assistance as well as occasional onsite installation, maintenance, repair and training of Hipotronics high voltage test systems. This position will also require assisting with testing and in-house repair and calibration in our Reading, PA factory.

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:




  • Support customers via phone and email, understand their requirements and help resolve issues





  • Perform all final tests required to ensure that equipment operates as stipulated in engineering specifications and makes any adjustments necessary. Prepares a written report of all work performed together with test results and generates test reports.





  • Perform final tests on new systems and existing equipment onsite and generate corresponding test and calibration documentation that will be sent to customers.



What will help you thrive in this role?

  • 2 year degree in technical field in electrical/electronic technology with 3-4 years experiencewith testing, troubleshooting, and calibrating analog and digital control metering circuitsor BSEE with 1-2 years of experience



  • Must be able to read schematics, be proficient in hand held tools and test instruments.



  • Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel.




  • Experience interfacing with customers


  • Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization capability.


  • Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of internal and external customers.


  • The ability to work with no height restrictions
  • Ability to travel US domestic 25-35%
