Prevention and Stabilization Fund (PSF) Functional Coordinator This position requires an active Top Secret clearance
The Prevention and Stabilization Fund (PSF) Functional Coordinator in F/RG manages budget analysis and resource management, coordinating with State and USAID to develop and manage foreign assistance programs. This role includes tracking Global Fragility Act (GFA) activities, overseeing PSF resource allocation, and addressing issues impacting USG foreign assistance effectiveness in PSF countries. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for PSF Functional Coordinator: $117,962.00 Pay commensurate with experience. PSF Functional Coordinator Responsibilities Include:
- The Functional Coordinator will manage and serve as F's principal POC for the PSF.
- Responsible for the development, oversight and evaluation of foreign assistance strategies, as well as the associated funding requirements, for assigned countries and functional issues to achieve program objectives.
- Provides outreach and coordination with other major players in the foreign assistance arena including Congress, other Federal agencies, donors, and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
- Participates in and supports broader functions such as strategic budgeting, guidance preparation, the development of foreign assistance planning and related strategies and overall foreign assistance policy.
- Provides expert guidance in the resolution of complex problems or issues impacting programs. Oversees the analysis of foreign assistance programs, identifies trends and
- monitors progress towards targets.
- Serves as a technical expert, providing advice and guidance in areas that require extensive interpretation for many different and unrelated program processes and methods.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
PSF Functional Coordinator Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Undergraduate degree in international politics/foreign policy, economics, social science, or other related fields, required
- Requires TOP SECRET Security Clearance.
- Managing agency or organization discussions by coordinating flows of information, and deconflicting divergent points of view, as needed.
- Working with budget tables or data systems such as EXCEL spreadsheets.
- Coordinating with senior managers to recommend or justify options for foreign assistance.
- Applying analytical skills to identify and advise on programs and budget decisions.
- Ability to solve problems and encourage consistent, solid performance.
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- English language (written and spoken) communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate activities in multiple locations, act decisively in daily work, and work well in a multi-cultural team environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently to assess priorities and manage daily coordination of details with minimal supervision.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
