Location:LPG Bass -16271 Bass RoadFort Myers FL 33908 Department: HOD Cardiology - Bass Road Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 1/7:30:00 AM to 6:00:00 PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$30.27 - $40.86 / hour Summary Lee Physicians Group is seeking an experienced RN to join their Cardiology practice on Bass Road in Fort Myers. This RN will work 4 ten hour shifts. The ideal RN will have cardiology experience and main function in the clinic will be: Triage daily patient phone calls Rotate between stress testing and coumadin clinic Perform medication prior authorizations Assist patients in scheduling preventative services Assist with patient education as needed Responsible for providing an excellent patient experience while delivering and documenting safe patient care through utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with the physician, practice leadership and other care team members. Provides oversight and coordination of nursing care delivered in the practice setting or telephonically, ensuring the care delivered is effective, efficient and achieves desired patient outcomes. responsible for supporting and guiding the care team in collaboration with the practice and physician leadership based on treatment plan, established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards. Demonstrates proficient utilization of available tools and resources which supports the unlicensed and licensed clinical staff including but not limited to: educating, mentoring, competency validation and evaluating. Contributes to the provision of quality care in the office setting through excellence in customer service and utilization of performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. This position has the knowledge, experience, interpersonal skills and behaviors appropriate to serve as a resource for internal and external customers regarding patient care. Requirements Educational Requirements Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: Additional Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates Degree or Diploma School) Experience Required: 3 Years Nursing Preferred: 3 Years Physician Practice/Outpatient Additional Requirements: State of Florida Licensure Requirements Required: Registered Nurse License Additional Requirements: Certifications/Registration Requirements Required: BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) Preferred: Additional Requirements: US:FL:Fort Myers
