Position Overview

The DEIB Specialist will play a key role in supporting the execution of OCHIN's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging strategy. The Specialist will provide tactical support for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), contribute to Learning & Development (L&D) efforts, and help foster allyship across the organization. This role involves collaborating across teams to ensure DEIB initiatives are effectively implemented and aligned with organizational goals.

Essential Duties

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs):

  • Provide administrative and operational support to ERGs, helping leaders align activities with organizational goals.
  • Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of ERG programs and events.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting ERG participation and impact metrics.

Learning & Development (L&D):

  • Partner with the DEIB Manager to implement DEIB-focused training initiatives.
  • Provide logistical support for DEIB workshops, webinars, and other learning sessions.
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing feedback from training programs to support continuous improvement.

Allyship Initiatives:

  • Contribute to the creation of resources and toolkits that promote allyship across diverse employee groups.
  • Assist in facilitating discussions and events that encourage allyship and inclusive practices.

General Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and compile insights on DEIB trends and best practices to support program development.
  • Assist with data collection and reporting to measure the effectiveness of DEIB initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR and other teams to ensure DEIB principles are embedded in policies and practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or similar preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in DEIB programs, employee engagement, or related areas.
  • Familiarity with DEIB concepts, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with event planning, project coordination, or data tracking is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

Work Location and Travel Requirements

OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home and many of our positions also support our member organizations on-site for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirements for this position.

Base Pay Overview

The typical offer range for this role is minimum to midpoint (min $70,214 - mid $87,767), with the midpoint representing the average pay in a national market scope for this position. Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors directly relevant to this position, including, but not limited to, skills, knowledge, training, responsibility, and experience, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
