Responsibilities Oversees and leads Donor Testing technical staff and coordinates sample processing, testing, and/or client management. This position may assist with instructional and hands-on training for Donor Testing technical staff and performs CLIA or Non-CLIA competency assessments, as needed. Executes testing and quality control procedures following SOP's as assigned. Testing includes routine donor testing in large batches. Qualifications Schedule: 2nd Shift: Rotates weekend coverage for PTO requests and holiday FOR with other department Leads. Education: Bachelor of Science in chemical, biological, clinical laboratory science or medical technology Related Experience Minimum of four (4) years relevant laboratory experience MLT/MLS (ASCP) certification Must meet requirements for Testing Personnel for a Highly Complex Laboratory as described in the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988 and Supervisor as described in NYSDOH Clinical Laboratory Requirements. The proposed hourly wage is $35.00 to $38.00 Offers made to an individual candidate will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, and job-related education. |
