The Learning and Development Strategic Partnerships Intern will primarily focus on building relationships with external partners, including universities, to support the Tuition Assistance and Reimbursement Program. This intern will also manage the organization-wide directory, ensuring it is up-to-date and accurate. In addition, this intern will assist with cataloging Oracle courses and contribute to the creation of various training documents, job aids, and other resources. The intern will also have opportunities to learn about and contribute to other Human Resource functional areas, including Compensation, Human Resource Business Partners, Labor Relations and Compliance, and Benefits.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: |
As a summer Intern, we will provide you with:
- A real-world experience on exciting projects
- Connections with recent college graduates and our company leaders
- Performance of assignments under the direct supervision of a department lead
- Performance of other work-related duties as needed
Your essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Create and update the organization-wide directory to ensure all L&D contact information and resources are accurate and easily accessible.
- Assist in building partnerships with universities to enhance the Tuition Assistance and Reimbursement Program.
- Collaborate with the team to catalog Oracle courses and align them with priority skill areas for leadership development and succession planning.
- Help design and prepare PowerPoint presentations and other training materials.
- Contribute to the creation of SOPs, policies, and guidance documents for internal L&D processes.
- Support logistics and organization for L&D events and team-building activities.
- Assist with internal communications efforts such as creating newsletters and updates.
- Gain exposure to HR areas such as Compensation, Benefits, Labor Relations, and HR Business Partners, contributing to various projects within these areas.

Required Experience: |
Strong written and verbal communication skills. |
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis). |
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). |
Comfortable with public speaking and leading presentations. |
Minimum Education Requirements: |
Must be currently enrolled fulltime in an undergraduate or graduate program |
Must have at least 30 credit hours complete |
Must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average |
Required Skills: |
Strong writing and editing skills. |
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage external partners. |
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUP). |
