Advantage Resourcing is looking for a skilled and reliable Aluminum MIG/TIG Welder to join our team in Pineville, LA. If you are passionate about quality work, have experience in welding, and are dedicated to safety and precision, we want to hear from you!

Pay: Starting at $18/hour, based on experience

Shifts Available:



  • Monday to Thursday: 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
  • Friday: 10-hour shift, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Some Saturdays may be required


Responsibilities:



  • Receive and follow work instructions, prints, and work orders.
  • Plan welding procedures and determine necessary tools and materials.
  • Fabricate and repair parts by cutting, burning, and welding various metals.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for welding.
  • Set up and weld using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment (based on welder certifications).
  • Use burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and cut material to size.
  • Repair products by dismantling, reshaping, straightening, and assembling parts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED, or 2-3 years of related experience/training.
  • Ability to read instructions, memos, and correspondence.
  • Strong math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
  • Completion of vocational-technical training or 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Must pass welder qualification test per code of construction.
  • Ability to handle, reach, talk, and hear; frequent standing and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong vision abilities, including close, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Exposure to mechanical parts, fumes, heat, vibration, and loud noise.
  • Ability to work in wet conditions, high places, and occasional exposure to electrical hazards.
  • Demonstrates punctuality, dependability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to collaborate, problem-solve, and maintain high-quality standards.
