Research Analyst/Specialist - Ingest & Hazard

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph clearance to be considered.

Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs is seeking a Research Analyst/Specialist - Ingest & Hazard to conduct classified and unclassified research and documents research results.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Research Analyst/Specialist - Ingest & Hazard: $100,000 - $115,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Research Analyst/Specialist - Ingest & Hazard Responsibilities Include:



  • Conduct research to fully identify basic business information (DUNS, CAGE, addresses, etc.), ownership, control, and influence of the vendor (manufacturer/seller/reseller/service or transportation provider), product supply chain information, as well as to understand any legal, regulatory, or financial issues of the vendor or products Guide teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.
  • Conduct hazards research to understand legal, financial, fraud, architecture and infrastructure, security, and foreign intelligence issues from the OEM, technology, or reseller that the client intends to procure
  • Conduct classified and unclassified research then documents research results
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Research Analyst/Specialist - Ingest & Hazard Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • Active Top Secret (TS) with SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience cumulative experience in intelligence research, intelligence analysis, business research, business analysis, finance analysis, cybersecurity, or counterintelligence.
  • Knowledge of DoD processes and terminology
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
