Mass General Imaging has opened a new state of the art outpatient MRI facility in Assembly Row (Somerville, MA). As an MRI Tech at MGH you'll be a part of expanding services with the ability to work with: *2-Tech team model *Unique and innovative workflow *Career advancement opportunities We also offer: *Flexible schedules (day, evening and weekends) with the ability work full or part-time *Health, Dental and Vision benefits that are effective on day 1 *Hospital funded pension plan + a 403(b) retirement savings plan *Newly increased base rates The MRI Techs will work under general supervision, perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies using a magnetic resonance device that includes preparing patients, positioning, setting imaging parameters, performing computer processing and displaying images. Selecting appropriate imaging protocol for patient studies. Performing quality assurance scans as required. Demonstrating the ability to work cohesively as a team member within the MRI Department. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
ARRT (MR)* License required Completion of a Medical Imaging Program BLS certified *Advanced MR certification required within 18 months of hire date.
