Who We Are
We are Tennis! The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the leader in promoting and developing the sport's growth on every level in the United States, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open. Why Intern with the USTA? We are a passionate team of staff and volunteers focused on growing the sport of tennis and making it accessible to all. We are committed to removing barriers and crafting opportunities for ALL to participate. Don't know tennis? Don't worry, you can still find yourself in the game! The RoleThis is an 8-week program from June 10th through August 13th. Working hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM ESTHybrid schedule: Must be capable to work on-site 2-3 days per week at the Los Angeles Office Hourly rate: $20.00The USTA Foundation is the social impact arm of the USTA, focused on utilizing tennis and education to positively transform the lives of youth. The Programs and Services team plays a vital role in advancing the Foundation's mission by supporting over 250 Sports-Based Youth Development Organizations nationwide. These organizations utilize the power of tennis to foster academic and athletic growth in young people. As an intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience by assisting in the coordination and support of several career and college readiness programs. You will contribute to designing new programs aimed at engaging young people in their college and career journeys. Additionally, you will conduct research on emerging trends in youth development and education, assisting the team in shaping innovative initiatives that align with the Foundation's mission.
