Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Business Analyst to act as the primary interface with business partners, solution architects, and cross-organizational technology teams Analyze current processes and systems, and assess the business model and its integration with technology Responsible for working with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze problems, and capture their requirements, and then work closely with the Development Team to refine the requirement into specifications that can be executed by the team Be part of an Agile Scrum team, collaborate with the Product Owner to evaluate the Features, write effective user stories, document business rules; and with Developers to review technical design, identify enablers and dependencies Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, working closely with business partners to elicit requirements, document process flows, identify risks and mitigation and participate in definition of strategies for the technical solution Excellent analytical skills Experience documenting detailed functional and technical requirements for business requirements Able to communicate and work with developers to ensure that acceptance criteria for the user stories are understood and applied Provide support to UAT and SIT testers to clarify requirements and determine whether a defect is a new requirement, or truly a defect Able to communicate and work with Testers to ensure that test plans and scripts satisfy the requirements Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to facilitate discussions Self-motivated and require minimal supervision Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills Able to analyze existing capabilities and identify gaps and opportunities Working knowledge of agile tools such as JIRA Experience with Agile methodologies, feature writing, story grooming and sprint planning Pay Range: $43.56 - $51.56 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
