Concrete Precast Technician

• Lubricate casting machines, position them over pallets, and distribute concrete and cement into panel forms using an overhead bin.
• Operate and manually level concrete with a screed, finish edges with a trowel, and install control joints, weld plates, and other components like PVC, foam, and rebar.
• Prepare and finish panels by spraying with glucose retardant, applying faux brick stencils and coloring as specified, and covering panels with plastic.
• Operate carousel control panels to move pallets, clean pallets and forms, and buff casting beds using industrial tools like grinders and buffers.
• Assemble forms by positioning and adjusting rails and bulkheads, applying grease to bulkheads, and securing components with tape, glue, or grease as needed.
• Inspect finished products for defects, verify measurements against blueprints, and handle prefabrication and delivery of rebar and other materials.
• Strip forms, attach rigging to concrete, remove block outs, clean edges, and assemble or bolt additional components to the finished product as required.
