Make your mark for patients

The Ecosystem Portfolio Strategy Lead (EPSL) works in close partnership with the Ecosystem Leadership Team to develop strategy, co-create a differentiating value proposition and create resources/initiatives that are relevant and impactful to executive decision makers in large, influential integrated accounts (i.e. IDN, Academic Centers, Private Equity, Supergroups). This will include developing above brand initiatives, branded initiatives, resources to meet evolving healthcare trends as well as leveraging innovation and technology. In addition, this role will be responsible to partner with home office marketers, MAP, patient services, medical and others to ensure strategic alignment.

About the role:

  • Develop the engagement strategy, priority focus areas, differentiated value proposition and materials that are tailored to the specifics of the ecosystem stakeholders, for strategically-coordinated execution with other UCB field team members as appropriate
  • Draw on UCB ecosystem stakeholders to participate in the creation of materials and message test them
  • Understand large provider groups and large provider systems / IDNs drivers of care and partnership.
  • Create a Quarterly Business Review to showcase work done by the ECO team and share healthcare trends and insights with the iPVU.
  • Work with business analytics team to identify actionable insights and performance dashboard with expansion of the immunology portfolio
  • Develop training to the team on utilization of the communication materials and information assets
  • Act as a leader across UCB to raise the capability of UCB in improving patient care through coordinated care, using collaborative and compliant external engagement to drive acceptance of the need to advance care delivery processes in aligned patient populations, and supporting shared decision making between patients and provider in disease state efforts.
  • Develop an annual operating budget and manage the budget throughout the year.
  • Operate at the highest level of UCB compliance and professional standards

  • Key decision makers and stakeholders across micro-ecosystem, including KOLs/TLs

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for developing an annual business plan that is co-created and aligned to the iPVU strategies
  • Develop a differentiated value proposition to achieve the objectives
  • Develop initiatives that are tailored to the specifics needs and drivers of the ecosystem stakeholders
  • Engagement plan for large provider groups and large provider systems / IDNs
  • Help build a culture that encourages active participation and engagement
  • Integrate the PVS strategies into ECO ways of working

Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skill

  • Demonstrated strategic leadership in ecosystem engagement
  • Marketing and/or field experience (5 years)
  • Deep understanding of business and care management / delivery models of large healthcare delivery systems and IDNs
  • Understanding of population health, value-based care delivery and patient quality initiatives
  • Masters degree in life sciences, business or healthcare preferred
  • US Immunology market expertise preferred
  • Demonstrated strength in insight and strategy development, marketing, business planning
  • Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary and/or matrixed teams
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in developing, and influencing teams

*This position's reasonably anticipated base salary range is $177,000-$232,000 annually. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, among other
