Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, and Chandler, AZ. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Facilitate the movement of monies through the processing of approximately 18.8 billion transactions a year to more than 66 million consumer/small business relationships and 2 million wealth management clients Help the team develop and support application database code in the Merchant Services arena Requirements: 7+ years of experience developing packages and stored procedures using PL/SQL 7+ years real-world experience of database design and development using Oracle 12c or higher 7+ years' experience working with querying XML/JSON database structures Experience and proficient knowledge of how to troubleshoot and performance tune queries Able to translate complex database ideas in terms a non-technical user can understand utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience and proficient knowledge of how to troubleshoot and performance tune queries. Experience working with Toad 12.x or higher Knowledge and experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Knowledge reading, interpreting and explaining Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) reports Strong leadership, communication, writing, and relationship skills across varied levels of influence Able to design the system with little direction or guidance Excellent analytical and logical skills Self-starter with thought leadership Able to partner with both technology and business associates to implement solutions Able to multitask and work independently Desired skills: Payments or Banking background is highly preferred Experience developing with JDK for PL/SQL, Java, Oracle Stored procedures Knowledge and awareness of other non-Oracle DBMS technologies Good understanding of Micro-Services Architecture Pay Range: $60.24 - $68.24 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
