Position Summary

The Information Technology (IT) Specialist installs, modifies, and repairs computer hardware and software systems, and provides technical advice and support to system users. Offers support via email, phone, remote troubleshooting tools, or in-person to all users. They assist with network administration and management of network infrastructure. Must be proficient with all O365 products and familiar with managing/administrating Microsoft tenants.


Essential Job Functions


  • Assists in the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, updates, and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, computers, hardware, software, peripherals, and user software.
  • Assists with management and deployment of network hardware, network access storage devices, switches, firewalls, RMM platforms, and anti-virus stack.
  • Assists in the administration of company Microsoft tenant and active directory/Azure services.
  • Administration of Exchange Online 365, SharePoint Online 365, and all O365 products such as Office, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Uses customer service skills to provide telephone, in-person, and online support to end-users.
  • Assists with helpdesk and desktop support duties such as installing hardware and peripheral components.
  • Identifies and procures the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements.
  • Loads appropriate software packages such as operating systems, office applications, and other third-party software.
  • Assists in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users requirements.
  • Assists with coordinating activities with network services and information systems groups.
  • Provides updates, status, and completion information to manager and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail, or in-person communication.
  • Refers hardware problems to service personnel for correction.
  • Connects users to networks and provides initial training in facilities and applications.
  • Monitors security camera software, server, and peripherals.
  • Access Control Administration.
  • Assists in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies.
  • Keep current with the latest technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Education/Training


  • Bachelors degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field, required



Experience


  • Three years of experience in IT administration, required
  • Background supporting Microsoft O365, Microsoft Server 2012 R2, 2016, and 2019, Exchange 365, Active Directory, Azure, SharePoint, Hyper-V, Firewalls, and HP Smart Switch technology.
  • Experience using/managing PBX Phone Systems (3CX)
  • Net Plus and A Plus Certification, preferred
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), preferred

Essential Physical Requirements

Sufficient mobility and strength to move about the facility. Ability to be mobile throughout Oklahoma.
