This position will assist with the shipping and logistics support of study clubs, trade shows and other industry meetings. This position will have frequent interactions with the sales force, various levels of management and multiple departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process, pack, and ship daily orders of material to various courses and events primarily using UPS and common carriers
- Maintain accurate tracking records for materials
- Ensure timely delivery of materials as needed
- Track/trace shipments to resolve issues that arise during transportation
- Ensure all equipment and other support material is in good working order, complete and clean
- Follow up with team on material not returned
- Prepare and ship inventory when requested
- Maintain adequate inventory on shelves to support ongoing courses
- Responsible for maintaining adequate shipping supplies
- Ability to resolve problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring alternative solutions; implementing solution and /or escalating unresolved
- Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and with teams
- Proficient in managing multiple tasks at the same time
- Excellent customer service skills
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience using MS Word, Excel preferred
- Must have strong organizational skills and possess an exceptional customer service attitude
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Requires vaccination against Hepatitis B or signed declination form
Education/Experience:
- 1+ year in a shipping/receiving environment, preferably in a corporate environment
- Associate's degree preferred and/or combination of experience
- Experience with event planning and/or tradeshows preferred
