Genesis10 is seeking a IT-Business Liaison for a contract with our client in St. Paul, MN Job/Project Description: Client is seeking an IT Business Liaison to work on the Modernize License Compliance System (LCS) project for 6 months to document specifications, requirements, and business rules. The position will research solution options and prepare a comparison of options and a project proposal. LCS has been in service for nearly 20 years, and to date has been cost effective and reliable. However, its technology is increasingly diverging from directions in which the state is moving (such as cloud-based operations). The ideal candidate will have a background in project management, business analysis, or business architecture. Experience with technical writing is a must. Key Responsibilities: * Represent IT to the agencies * Plan the strategic implementation of new technology solutions that improve business efficiency * Identify technologies that will improve and enhance an organization's business goals * Point of contact between client and business teams * Improve or maintain communication and collaboration between the client and agencies * Identify improvement opportunities * Define technical requirements to help client teams design hardware or software solutions Work closely with stakeholders and vendors to prepare a project proposal Create a PowerPoint presentation of options for the proposal Required Basic Qualifications: a. Strong negotiation skills b. High degree of diplomacy and problem-solving skills c. Both business and technical acumen d. Presentation planning and development e. Meeting and solution facilitation f.
