Genesis10 is seeking a Software Asset Analyst for a contract with our client. 100% Remote. Job/ Project Description: We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Analyst to support the Oracle/Java Risk Remediation project for a 6-month contract. This position will be responsible for assisting with the support of the Oracle/Java project, auditing software installations, managing software licensing, and contributing to process improvements. Location: Open to all time zones, with a preference for Central Time (CT). Years of Experience: 5-7 years of experience in IT Software Asset Management (flexible). Key Responsibilities: Assist in the support of the Oracle/Java Risk Remediation project Pull software installation data and audit software licensing. Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts. Develop and generate service management reports and presentations. Serve as a liaison between IT service owners and leadership, facilitating timely review and approval. Maintain the service catalog and ensure adherence to agreed-upon processes and procedures. Participate in service review meetings with business and IT teams, identify trends and inconsistencies, and propose solutions. Perform additional duties as assigned. Skills and Experience Required: Strong background in IT Software Asset Management. Experience with Oracle/Java risk remediation and removal is highly preferred. Good communication skills and a self-starter attitude. Strong desire to grow within Software Asset Management. Ability to manage and report on software license compliance. Ability to work independently and contribute to process improvement. Qualifications: 5-7 years of experience in Asset Management, preferably IT Software Asset Management. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Candidate Qualities: Experience in removing Oracle/Java from use. Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement. Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
