As a Lead Product /UX Designer for Salesforce Products, you will play a crucial role in creating intuitive and delightful user experiences for our suite of products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and fellow designers, to shape the user interface and overall user experience. Your primary responsibility will be to understand user needs, conduct user research, and translate insights into innovative design solutions that align with Salesforce's design principles and business objectives. Through your expertise in UX design, you will drive the development of user-centred designs that enhance customer satisfaction and increase product adoption.

As a Product/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping user-centric experiences for the Agentforce platform, enabling organizations to build AI agents that drive efficiency, innovation, and business outcomes.

Whether it's customer service agents, sales assistants, or AI agents for operations and beyond, you'll design solutions that empower users to create and manage intelligent agents with ease and precision. This is a unique opportunity to blend human-centered design with cutting-edge AI technologies to solve complex enterprise challenges.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams-product managers, engineers, and fellow designers-you will contribute to the vision and execution of tools that make AI accessible and impactful for businesses around the world.

Your ImpactAs a member of the Agentforce UX team, you will:
  • Shape AI agent creation workflows: Design intuitive tools and experiences for creating, deploying, and managing a wide variety of AI agents tailored to enterprise needs.

  • Collaborate across disciplines: Partner with product owners, engineers, and user researchers to craft cohesive, scalable solutions that align with Salesforce's design principles.

  • Bridge human and AI experiences: Design seamless interactions that allow human users to effectively collaborate with, monitor, and guide AI agents.

  • Create scalable design systems: Extend Salesforce's design systems to support the unique needs of AI agent management and deployment.

  • Advocate for trusted and ethical AI: Ensure that the designs promote transparency, fairness, and accountability in the creation and deployment of AI agents. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed ethical principles in workflows and educate users on responsible AI practices.

  • Advocate for inclusivity and accessibility: Ensure designs are inclusive, accessible, and meet the needs of diverse global users.

  • Drive innovation: Contribute to the vision for Agentforce by designing tools that simplify complex AI workflows while unlocking powerful capabilities for enterprise users.

  • Mentor and inspire: Support team members in delivering high-quality design outcomes while fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, User Experience Design, or related fields (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience as a UX designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and/or mobile application designs, ideally within enterprise software or SaaS products.

  • 10+ years of experience as a Lead UX Designer or equivalent role.

  • Expertise in user-centered design processes, systems thinking, and creating workflows for complex enterprise platforms.

  • Proficiency in tools like Figma and a readiness to adopt emerging design technologies.

  • Experience designing interactions for AI-powered platforms, especially tools for creating or managing AI agents.

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative, and agile environments while delivering on tight deadlines.

  • A commitment to accessibility and ethical design, ensuring products serve a global, diverse audience.

  • Experience designing scalable systems, not just isolated features.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders across disciplines.

  • Experience in leveraging user research and analytics to drive design decisions and iterations.

  • A passion for mentoring and growing team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $200,800 to $276,100. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $184,000 to $253,000. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $200,800 to $276,100. For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $184,000 to $253,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
