The Global Distribution Strategy & Transformation team is seeking a Director, Program Delivery for Agentforce. In these roles, an experienced strategic thinker will be accountable to deliver solutions, in partnership with functional leaders, that support the growth and scale of Agentforce internally for Salesforce. Develop a framework on how to define an agent-first workforce, define the high-value tasks and what capacity is needed for them, build a plan to reshape function/orgs for the future with agent-first mindset. The role is responsible for defining the framework, working collaboratively with the functions, driving project deliverables and milestones, as well as closely partnering with various business functions to build alignment on scope and approach, business requirements and processes, and optimized solutions that deliver both short and long term strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively plan, coordinate, and direct the delivery of Agentforce internally for Salesforce while managing risks and issues to minimize scope, budget, and schedule impacts
  • Effectively lead, empower and hold accountable functional teams in a matrixed organization to complete priorities
  • Proactively build strong, trusted working relationships with functional leaders and business partners (e.g., Distribution, Tech & Product, Finance, Employee Success, Business Technology) to drive alignment and optimize project operations
  • Ability to engage with Senior Leaders and escalate risks and issues appropriately to them on an ongoing basis
  • Facilitate annual budget planning and tracking value from the business - inclusive of workforce planning
  • Collaborate globally to influence key partners on project scope/vision, solutions, budget, and schedule; set-up and implement program governance
  • Facilitate weekly project team meetings to focus on and accelerate project execution
  • Communicate project strategy, updates, and partner concerns of risks/issues to multiple levels of management, including executive leadership teams across the organization
  • Ability to identify the root cause(s), develop business case justification, acquire partner alignment; recommend prioritization of solutions
  • Leverage data insights to propose project execution strategy and measure results

What sets you apart:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in a strategy and a proven track record in building, leading, and managing high-performing teams
  • Experience in roles that required driving business outcomes, often cross-functionally, across a multi-product portfolio in a Strategy or Operations capacity
  • Proven success in dealing with senior business executives at all levels with utmost confidentiality. Demonstrates high EQ, tact, diplomacy, and self-awareness.
  • Proven ability to have courageous, difficult discussions, influence and negotiate, navigate productively through conflict, and lead cross-functionally at peer level and above to drive the business forward.
  • Proven track record of demonstrating grit in the face of challenges and adversity, and ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams through a high degree of movement and change.
  • Proven track record in successfully setting a vision, prioritizing, cutting through noise, and organizing teams so they effectively execute through ambiguity and achieve high-quality, repeatable, consistent results.
  • Strong understanding of GTM across Sales, Professional Services, and Success
  • Knowledge of Salesforce applications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master (CSM) certifications are a plus
  • MBA or other advanced degree

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to drive and realize strategic benefits through successful completion of projects, able to excel in a collaborative environment, build rapport, and influence peers
  • 10+ years of confirmed experience leading complex programs, preferably for large-scale transformations
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,800 to $281,100. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,800 to $281,100. For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $177,600 to $257,600. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
