4 - 10 hour shifts, days

Call is required -must live within 30 minutes of the hospital

Overview:

Provides direct patient care to outpatient and inpatient post-surgical patients. Meets psychological, physical, and general aspects of care; utilizes the nursing process in planning care. Provides communication and education needs of patient and family. Provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Communicates with physicians and other team members about changes in patients' condition and can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Experience: 1 year of RN experience is preferred.
• Certifications:Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
