As a Software Engineer, you will use cutting edge cloud and data technologies to help global brands and federal agencies solve challenging problems through innovative technology solutions. What You'll Be Doing

• Work in a team with other smart AIS employees using cutting edge technologies to solve challenging business problems, design, develop, and maintain multi-tiered business applications.
• Build elegant, scalable, extensible, cost-effective solutions with an eye towards innovation and agility.
• Utilize problem-solving and decision-making skills to understand client pain points and to self- troubleshoot as challenges arise.
• Collaborate with other members of the development team and project managers to deliver solutions that surpass client expectations while meeting deadlines and budgets
• Design, write, unit test, and document application code to successfully deliver project-based work
• Design, write, test, troubleshoot, and document application code
• Provide mentorship to junior Developers
• Learn new technologies and be aware of industry standards, best practices, and trends
• Utilize Agile methodologies, Azure DevOps & GitHub tool to assist in software development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior developers.

Location and Travel details

• This is a remote position with occasional travel (if needed)

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience with .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, jQuery) to develop software solutions.
• Solid fullstack development experience - equal focus on back-end technologies and front-end web technologies preferably React or Angular framework.
• Database development experience:PostGres, MSSQL (SQL/SSIS).
• Working knowledge of relevant technologies: front end tools, middleware, Databases, ORMs, development frameworks, design patterns, API design, Test Automation, DevOps, Cloud Architecture, and Enterprise Integration Patterns
• Solid OOP/OOD knowledge, clean architecture, design patterns
• API development experience, GraphQL
• Experience with GitHub and knowledge on CI/CD Concepts (Ex: GitHub Actions)
• Azure Cloud experience, Docker, Kafka, XUnit / MS Unit
• Good communication, strong interpersonal skills

Nice to have

• Azure Data Services.
• App Insights or DynaTrace.
• Desire to obtain or utilize relevant technical certifications as part of continuous professional growth.
