Responsibilities

Job Summary
The Network Analyst develops, analyzes and provides quality and timely information to support the provider contract load and payer network management relationship. The Network Analyst will provide network analysis, maintain the provider membership database, and support the Payer/Provider Relations Director in administrative interactions with payer contracts, including following up on administrative and provider load related topics. Provides leadership and works closely with external and internal stakeholders to generate reports to use for analysis and comparison in evaluating network data.
  • Database Administration: Updates and maintains the membership database ensuring data is accurately entered. Prepares and runs reports from the provider membership database, initiating database changes needed to more accurately report on membership. Provides new and terminating provider lists as well as provider addendums to all payers on monthly basis.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Demonstrates ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills and work collaboratively with Payer/Provider Relations Director to develop a variety of standard, ad-hoc and customized payer/provider reports. Provides support interpreting and presenting data, including presentation of data to individuals and groups as needed. Work with large amounts of payer data and analyze the data for trends and patterns and attribution changes. Provides analytical expertise and assistance by effectively preparing and communicating payer information as requested while ensuring consistent application of data definitions within reporting.
  • Reconciliation and Auditing: Works to validate, QA and perform routine membership database audits assuring physician/facilities are accurately loaded with all required data. Leads payer reconciliation and validation efforts for data provided by payers, vendors, and/or third parties. Maintains current knowledge of plan participation changes, initiates and tracks corrections with payers, and ensures providers are affiliated and reporting accurately.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Interacts and works collaboratively to integrate, coordinate, and manage data integrity and reporting out of multiple systems. Communicates and collaborates with other departments in managing day-to-day aspects of projects, provider attribution inquiries, identifying resources needed and choosing the most efficient method of data extraction and analysis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
