COCC is looking for a Sales Operations Coordinator to join our Business Development team. This outgoing, energetic and professional individual will be in a highly visible position to help further strengthen COCC's sales support efforts, specifically focused on proposals and presentations. Directly supports all sales efforts, including but not limited to the following: organizing product presentations, giving product demonstrations, facilitating Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, and other related activities to assist with sales initiatives. What you'll do...
- Work with Core Sales Manager to determine requirements, strategy, and all other discovery
- Schedule meetings/presentations/demonstrations based on prospect, vendor, and internal availability
- Prepare agendas, PowerPoints, digital marketing material, handouts, and promotional giveaways
- Make travel arrangements and submit expense requests
- Maintain and test equipment, connectivity, and demo applications to ensure proper working order
- Coordinate and assist with the entire RFP (Request for Proposal) process from receipt to delivery
- Obtain product knowledge and provide high-quality responses by collaborating with the Business Development team, subject matter experts, and third-party resources
- Perform thorough proofreading, review, and editing
- Deliver the finished RFP product with all necessary requirements
- Maintain the RFP database/RFP Software and work with subject matter experts to ensure that content is current and accurate
- Update and maintain all tracking and reporting through an internal CRM system
- Perform other sales and marketing-related activities with quality and thoroughness
- Travel up to 30% primarily comprised of day trips, occasional need to spend an overnight and rare occasion to spend more than an overnight
What you'll bring...
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or Sales/Marketing, or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years in a Sales/Marketing or Customer Service
- 1+ years work experience in a Bank/Credit Union or other professional setting
- Public speaking, scripting, and presentation skills
- Desire and ability to learn about banking products and then present products to an audience
- Ability to take initiative and perform independent research on unknown items
- Ability to communicate effectively with prospects, customers, third party partners, and all levels of internal staff and management, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with open communication and strict adherence to deadlines
- Must have meticulous attention to detail as the job requires daily proofreading and editing
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude, have a neat appearance, outgoing, adaptable, and flexible
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to record detailed, clear and accurate meeting notes and other information presented via in-person or virtual settings
- Experience with CRM/Sales tracking and Smartsheet is a plus
Salary Range for this role $55,000-$63,000 per year COCC is committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace.
