Job Description: Surgery Technology Student Knowledge Program Application Please read carefully: In order to be considered for the Knowledge Program you must be accepted or actively enrolled in a Surgical Technology program that results in a minimum of an associate degree. The Baptist Health Louisville Knowledge program has helped numerous individuals reach their career goals of becoming a professional in healthcare. The Knowledge Program is open to both current employees and external candidates and provides tuition funds in the form of loan forgiveness to individuals who have been accepted into a surgical technology. Participants in the program must agree to work for Baptist upon graduation from their program. Knowledge Program participants are taxed according to IRS guidelines regarding Loan Forgiveness. Once the participant begins work as a Laboratory professional the loan monies are taxed through installments in the payroll process.
