The opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused AIR Operations Specialist to join our team! As a key point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth execution of airfreight shipments, and driving business growth through upselling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and service requirements

  • Proactively serve customers to achieve best-in-class customer service

  • Execute end-to-end airfreight shipments, working closely with internal stakeholders

  • Adhere to processes and standards, ensuring compliance and meeting KPIs

  • Identify and execute upselling opportunities to drive business growth

  • Communicate proactively and professionally with all stakeholders

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Warehouses, Commercial, Product, and Global Service Centres

  • Support other functional groups, including Revenue Management, Compliance, Claims, and systems testing

We are looking for:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in a related business area preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience with airfreight process knowledge

  • Strong customer-centricity and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with composure and perseverance

  • Collaborative and action-oriented with a focus on operational systems

  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

  • English language proficiency (written and spoken)

  • CargoWise experience preferred

  • Dangerous Goods certified preferred

Pay Range: $53,000-$59,000*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
