Sr. Functional Architect- APIGEE

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Functional Architect with 12 to 16 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Google APIGEE Gateway Google APIGEE, APIGEE Integration APIGEE Edge APIGEE Developer Portal Apigee API Platform APIGEE API Hub Apigee API Management and APIGEE. The role requires domain skills in Multi-Channel and Applying cash to invoices. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of API solutions using Google APIGEE Gateway and related technologies.
• Oversee the integration of APIGEE with various systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
• Provide technical guidance and support for APIGEE Edge and Developer Portal to enhance user experience.
• Develop and maintain the Apigee API Platform to ensure high availability and performance.
• Manage the APIGEE API Hub to facilitate efficient API management and collaboration.
• Implement best practices for APIGEE API Management to ensure security and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply cash to invoices and streamline financial processes.
• Utilize domain expertise in Multi-Channel to optimize customer interactions and improve service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all API-related activities.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of API documentation to maintain accuracy and relevance.
• Provide training and support to team members on APIGEE tools and best practices.
• Monitor and analyze API performance metrics to identify and address potential issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall API ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Possess a deep understanding of Google APIGEE Gateway and related technologies.
• Demonstrate expertise in APIGEE Integration and APIGEE Edge.
• Have experience with APIGEE Developer Portal and Apigee API Platform.
• Show proficiency in managing APIGEE API Hub and APIGEE API Management.
• Exhibit strong domain skills in Multi-Channel and Applying cash to invoices.
• Have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Possess strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Show a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
• Have a proven track record of successful API implementations.

Certifications Required

Certified Apigee API Engineer Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until Jan 22, 2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $138,000 - $185,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
